How a person practices is very important. If you
just blast away, you may actually slow down your progress. If you organize
yourself, you will do much better. A good way to work is to make a list of
"reminders" that you keep in front of you. Put your list on a large piece of
cardboard in large letters. Position it so you can glance at it without
paying too close attention while you're doing your exercises. Just seeing the
phrases will help you The following should be on that list. Don't worry about
not knowing the meaning of all of these terms. You'll learn them as you do
your work
Keep lips out
Keep pelvis under:
Listen to vowel not voice
If it feels stupid it's probably right.
The tongue is the enemy
Stay in rhythm
Keep head up - Don't duck chin.
Fight the collapse - Push to sternum
Stay firm
Sip the breath
In the beginning actually do the exercises with me using the videos. After
you become accustomed the them, work on them without the videos, using the
videos for reference..
